A Thursday night lecture series free to the public throughout the summer showcases ongoing research and science in the Adirondack Park and other relevant areas from a variety of perspectives.

These very popular lectures range in topics from ecology to history to philosophy and are enjoyed by the community, summer residents, and visitors to the area.

As the Friends group to the Adirondack Interpretive Center, the Adirondack Park Institute provides support for the Center’s free educational and experiential programs that teach generations to care for the Adirondack Park’s unique natural and cultural resources.
